On October 18, the 2nd BRSSCAL Conference and Forum of Belt and Road International Cooperation on Agriculture and Forestry Education Technology 2019 was held in Fuzhou.
This conference witnessed the joining of 4 universities, including University of Sao Paulo (Brazil) and University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). Additionally, BRSSCAL signed cooperation agreements with African Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) which is consisted of 150 members. Besides, intensive and meticulous implementation was another focus of the conference. The signing of 16 Letters of Intent, including the Letter of Intent on China-Africa Science and Technology Backyard Program, expanded the scope of South-South Cooperation and facilitated the cooperation in agricultural and forestry education within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
